 Founded by Producer/Director Jed Mortenson, Waypoint Films incorporates a wide network of film and video professionals. Our goal is to provide our clients with top notch product, while maintaining flexibility and scalability at reasonable rates.
Jed Mortenson has more than 15 years experience in film and video production and post-production, from huge Hollywood features (Jurassic Park, Virus, The Abyss) to small corporate videos and everything in between. At the age of 8, Jed stole his parents Super 8 movie camera and began making films; 15 years later, he graduated cum laude from USC’s acclaimed School of Cinema in Los Angeles. He has since had the good fortune to work with top film industry names such as James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment, Universal Studios, and New Line Cinema, as well as major corporate clients such as Siemens, Boston Scientific, Nokia, and Hyatt, to name a few.
